I’ll take a second to laugh because while the title of this post is accurate, as it was meant to be, it’s equally annoying to me, so let’s just work through that together. It’s wordy as hell. 😂😂😂 Well…. let’s get this popping!!

About two weeks ago, I had a long discussion with a black artist I’ve been following about the book cover and ordered that. I was obnoxiously detailed as is my way and I always want my book covers to be a very specific way every time I do wine and wanted to do the same thing for my first music album.

Yesterday, I received but album cover back and I am very excited about it! Now, if you are looking at this, the album cover has been made the featured image of this post. Where did I get my inspiration from? A mixture of Avatar: The Last Airbender and yoga and meditation. Yes, I am a geek. I love The Last Airbender. I love and appreciate yoga and have done lots of yellow classes myself. I also recognize the benefits of meditation although it took me several classes until I could stay awake all the way through. You can read about that on Bamboo Cocoon by clicking here. 😂😂🤗
Becoming Air is meant to be music that can be listened to with the ears or with the body. It is something you can internalize and feel yourself with in order to help you self soothe. Get us to calm your nerves even as it excites you what is beautiful tones a minor key. For the tank drum is a simplistic instrument made of hammered metal but it has a limited set of tones , so the album is all in a singular key.
I also haven’t written by album description for becoming air yet, but maybe today after doing this post I have more inspiration for what I should say about it.

Yes, I’m still procrastinating. With no experience in recording music, building a little at-home sort of studio setup has been a severe trial. The only thing that keeps me pushing myself is the comfort of knowing that once I’ve figured out all of the tech and gadgets to really make at home recording a thing that allows me to make studio-quality recordings wherever I go, then I can have a little celebration…and probably buy a really expensive, really shiny, hand-painted hand pan with some super inspirational quote that I’ll only read once every 6 months.
